As one whose inbox regularly fills up with junk, I abhor spam. It is my policy to never sell a reader’s information, nor give it away for others to use. When I collect e-mails for my newsletter, I do so abiding to the laws in Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, and one can unsubscribe from my mailing list at any time through any e-mail I send.

That being said, there are a few things that I use to run my website and get an idea of who’s paying me a visit. Google Analytics is used to see who is, demographically speaking, paying me a visit; Akismet is used to filter potential spam from comments; and I ask for people to sign-up for my newsletter using Aweber’s forms.
